Project Overview: Blake wrote a book?!?!
This project came to fruition when I was contacted by Divvy's CEO, Max Gangon, to help their company create a comprehensive guide on cannabis marketing. Divvy is a Android-based streaming host for menus and marketing assets across retail screens and signage. This project allowed me to use my decade of experience in marketing and design to help other businesses grow and consider new approaches to their sales strategies. I served as the author… and as a design and marketing strategist for this project… along with a few other roles. The guidebook features interactive elements; including animated Canva templates, Instructional "How To" videos, an interactive web-page, and more! This project also allowed me to direct a small creative team within Divvy to accomplish the large task in less than a month. Max (Divvy's CEO) and I took the booklet to MJBizCon and other trade shows to promote the book and realted services and received glowing feedback on the feature-rich content from anyone who took a glance!
Problem Statement:
Divvy required a way to organically introduce their platform and the benefits with no cost to the end-user. Also, many businesses do not have a dedicated in-house marketing or design employee. A crucial element to this project was to make sure that it could hold ANY employee's hand and guide them to learn the benefits of Divvy in less than an hour of their time. Divvy wanted to be able to sell clients their services and make them feel confident in using their services to the fullest potential without having to hire or train the "proper" staff. This book gives several key insights and transferable information that can be applied to just about any business! (Yes, even outside of the cannabis industry) By giving away some tips and some templates, Divvy aimed to instill trust in customers who were unsure or wanted to give the service a shot without any long-term commitments or investments!

Project Toolkit:
"Blake is always one step ahead and often responds to requests before they're even made. I can uniquivably say we made the perfect choice in working with him on our retail marketing book."
